April 17- Death Valley to Palm Springs

Leisurely get-up, great breakfast and we are adding to our gas receipts....

Sea level to about 6000 feet...

Cute little semi-deserted town.

The things you see on the road...

World's tallest thermometer..

Saw this on the freeway....not my pic....the Weinermobile!!!

What qualifications do you need to drive the Wienermobile?
Oscar Mayer has an average of between 1,000 and 1,500 applicants a year. Qualifications for becoming a Hotdogger include strong communication skills, a bachelor's degree (preferably in something related to public relations, marketing or journalism) and, of course, a love of hot dogs....

Pit stop at Eddie's World! Best place ever!!

How a about living in your RV here...20 miles either way to services, no power....just a whole Lotta nothing...just heat! 29 degrees!

Lots of wildflowers!

How much room does a cactus need to grow.....not much apparently.

Over 3,000 turbines here, they were all moving pretty fast, hence the 'strong crosswind warning" pushing the RV all over the road!

And we are here.....great full service RV site, pools, thermal hot pools....chill time!

Lu getting user to her booties to protect her little pads from the goatheads!

Beautiful cool breeze to end our day..
