Lu went to her Rover.com daycare. She was happy to arrive so looks like I did a good job in sourcing out a home.
Beautiful sunny day for a tram ride. It was already pretty warm at the bottom but the temp at the top was 10 degrees.
It is the world's largest rotating tram cars taking you on a 10 minute, two-and-a-halfmile trip at the Valley Station, elevation 2,643 feet to the Mountain Station, elevation 8,516 feet. Very impressive!
At the top we hiked around a bit, saw the biggest pine cones ever!!! But because it's in the San Jacinto National Park....those cones were going nowhere...
Amazing views of the desert..
Natures Penny wishing well...
And what goes up must come down..
Johnson falls.... for the two Johnson girls.
Back at the bottom we enjoyed a Krieg Tailgate party!
As the day was still pretty early and we still had lots of time left on the Rover timeclock we headed back into town for some retail therapy.
One day I hope to be an angel but I'm not quite there yet!
One way around the homeless issue and public washrooms...security guard! Brilliant!
Lu was super happy to see us but I think she fit right in at her Home-away-from-Home.
Ended the day with a great steak dinner at the Kriegs! Yum yum cheers!
