May 1- on the road again....can't wait to get on the road again..

Awoke to the alarm at 6:30...ug...it's real...time to go head North...it's like a curse word when you are on holidays in the south...

Windy....windy...windy...head wind not too good on the fuel bill. 

 The wind farm is hard at work today!

It pushed the trailer all over the road, pretty rough ride.

Then this appeared....have not seen this for well over 2 weeks...kinda depressing..

But not for long! Yay!

Over hills, mountains and desert and rinse and repeat...

Caught the tail end of the outside of the poppy bloom near Antelope Valley Reserve..

About 5 long boring hours on the I-5....but in order to get home in time to work on Monday....had to do it....

Miles and miles and miles of solar farms then miles and miles and miles of Olive Trees...drove for almost 2 hours at highway speeds with Olive trees on both sides as far as the eye can see..mixed in with pistachio trees..

Pulled into a Passport America RV spot for the night...10 1/2 hour drive today....almost as many RVs as there are CATS!

Stray cats that people drop off, management tries to take them to get them fixed to control the population...but people continue to drop them off here...so it's a ongoing battle... they are well fed and happy and lazy... and not scared of anyone...

Nice enough RV Park...lots of highway noise...nothing that a glass of vino and earplugs can't fix!
